Area: 22.4 square miles with approximately 5 miles of coastline on Long Island Sound.
Westport is located just 55 miles from New York City. This lovely town has something for everyone - a house in the country, a beach house on Compo Beach or great shopping - Westport has it!
The Levitt Pavilion, Westport Country Playhouse and Westport Art Council are testament to the communities strong devotion to the performing and creative arts.
An exceptional public school system is the focus of this community as ranked inthe WSJ's "top 1,000 High School" rankings.
Longshore Park, the 18-hold Public course is open to Westport residents and includes pools, a new playground, marina/yacht basin, skating rink, paddle, softball field and 26 tennis courts. Compo Beach, the largest town beach features many recreational opportunities. Old Mill, Burying Hill Cockenoe Island and the 300-acre Sherwood Island are other Westport Beaches.
Westport has two train stations, Saugatuck and Greens Farms, on Metro-North Railroad which serves Grand Central Terminal in NYC and Union Station in New Haven.
